The Alpinestars Frontier Gore-Tex suit is a 4-in-1 multi-purpose suit. It can can be used in many riding situation.
The fit is made more for upright riding so it gears toward adventure and touring more than sport riding. The Alpinestars Frontier Gore-Tex jacket is available in Black, Yellow or Grey colors in sizes ranging from S-4 XL and the pants are available in S-3 XL.
If you want a motorcycle riding suit that can handle various different climates / environment the Alpinestars Frontier Gore-Tex definitely can adapt, it has a removable Gore-Tex liner that is waterproof and breathable, the jacket is great looking and worn over top.
Hold-on there are more inner liners, the next one being a thermal liner for keeping heat in on colder rides and there is a permanent jacket built-in mesh liner with stretch panels or ease of movement.
Finally, there is the shell jacket which is well designed and good looking, made of sturdy 475-denier polyurethane (PU)coated textile shell for great waterproofing.
To keep cool and dry there are 2 large chest area zip panels that can be taken off to allow air flow in and there is also a mesh panel in the back to vent out hot moist air from your back. There are also smaller zippers on the bicep and wrist of each arm sleeve. As you can see air flow to keep you cool on hot days is quite sufficient.
As for visibility and being conspicuous, both the jacket and pants features reflective logos and reflective piping that add to night riding safety.
Now for the Alpinestars Frontier pants which are made of the same rugged PU textile material and same liner system.
For breathing there are vent panels in the thighs. For storage there are cargo pants pockets that are easily reached by the rider. The pockets are waterproof so you do not have to worry about your belongings getting soaked.
If you take a spill you would want to a riding suit that can protect you and Alpinestar gear are generally known for pretty good protection the Frontier jacket has CE-approved armor in the shoulder and elbows and also “closed-cell” foam in the upper chest and back.
For your lower half the Alpinestar Frontier pants has CE-approved armor in the knees and shin and also foam protection in the hip area.
